Common Good Garden planting
What: It is gardening time! The Common Good Garden at Bread for Life is looking for volunteers. The harvest from the garden is used by the chef to create delicious meals for both their in-house and homebound clients.
Who: Six volunteers are needed to begin the planting
When: Mondays and Thursdays thru October
Time: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
No experience necessary, with have three very talented Garden Mentors to lead us thru the process.
If you prefer, we can assign a week to you or your organization.
Dress for a mess
Use sun screen & bug spray
Wear sneakers or work shoes
Bring gloves and a hat
Bring a water bottle

Rails-to-Trails Clean up
RAILS TO TRAILS: Please sign up to maintain our section of the Rails to Trails mile. We are responsible for maintaining it through the summer months. It starts at Curtis Street and ends at Smokin' with Chris Restaurant. Sign up is in the Parish Hall on the easel. This involves a pair of work gloves and a garbage bag. Just pick up the trash along our mile.
