Coming to St. Paul’s was a new beginning for my family and me. As I walked into St. Paul’s I knew we had found a new home. The community was warm and inviting and they were in an interim period almost no one really knew my background. I was able to focus on my relationship with God.
After being here a year or so I was at a point in my journey to start teaching Sunday school again. As the program at St. Paul’s turned into J2A, Rite 13 it seemed the right program at the time for me as well as the youth. We were doing outreach through the 30 Hour Famine worldwide, feeding the hungry in Hartford, Collections for community services I have been very blessed to have met many people at St. Paul’s that without even knowing have taught me something to use while teaching. I am living proof that God works in mysterious ways. I believe that God sends people into our lives for reasons.
As one of our pilgrims said God does not give us the answers he provides options it is up to us to make the right choice.
My choice to come to St Paul’s was definitely the right one as I look at my grown kids and the adults they have become. I know that without St Paul’s I would not be the person I am and neither would my kids.
